MIPA exists to safeguard our culture, traditions and knowledge. The Interactive Museum of Traditional Ecuadorian Fireworks represents a dream that comes to life with the history of four generations. Two kilometers from the cantonal center of Gualaceo, via the east up LAS NIEVES to the Sector of the Three Crosses, it is an interactive learning space where visitors learn the depth of artisanal pyrotechnics.
Traditional Ecuadorian Fireworks have so much meaning and cultural value to expose in an environment of learning and unique experiences. The Dream of Romulo, an artisan of Gualaceo, becomes a reality within the rooms that keep
this intangible heritage, thus sharing it with the Ecuadorians and the rest of the world within 6 rooms that show history, process, crafts, among others.
Museum and viewpoint, allows a different experience where people can learn and make their own traditional custom balloon, lift a crazy cow and much more. The attention to the public is: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm. Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00am to 8:00 pm.
