On January 6, the city is filled with excitement with the costume contest. Participants invent costumes, masks and allegorical cars, and to the sound of good music, they parade in the parades that cross the downtown streets of the city transmitting joy among the spectators.
The participants mock, mainly, politicians, the good and bad events that occurred in the year that ended. There are prizes awarded by the Municipality for the best. With the sound of drums and the incessant whistles of the clowns, the masked ones make their way and get warm applause.
